Philosophy and Focus of Missions:
" Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
As ambassadors of Christ, we take seriously the command of our Lord to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost, sin-cursed world. We rejoice in the privilege He has given us to proclaim the message of the cross and call unregenerate men to repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Missions Committee of Orlando Grace Church is responsible to oversee the church’s missions giving, the selection of local and foreign missions, the encouragement of and communication with our supported missions, and to serve as a catalyst for our congregation’s involvement with missions through trips and local activities, missions conferences, regular prayer time for missionaries, and communication about mission activities and needs.
Our desire is to provide synergy between the missions we support and the church’s direct involvement. We want to support those missions where church members are directly involved and develop a plan for active involvement by all members of the congregation in some form of missions.
Applications for Mission Support
The OGC Mission Committee meets on a regular basis to consider new support
applications when funding is available. We generally focus our support towards
those ministries which involve our own members, so if you have no connection to
OGC, we discourage you from applying. If you would like to apply for long-term
or short-term support, fill out the appropriate application and email to:
john_gjertsen@earthlink.net.

Update from the Digo Translation
The Digo People live on the coast of Kenya and Tanzania, superficially practice Islam, consult witch doctors, and sacrifice animals to ward off evil spirits. And for hundreds of years, God has not spoken their language. Recently, however, a translation of the New Testament and part of the Old Testament has begun, and Orlando Grace Church is committed to seeing it finished. We know the power of God's Spirit is found in His Word, and without the Word of God, the Digo will forever be lost. The translation project will last another 2 years and require about $20,000. We are hoping as a church to meet their remaining need financially, as well as undergird this effort prayerfully and eventually sending teams to work with the Digo. Prayerfully consider being a part of this undertaking. Gifts designated "Digo" to OGC will be channeled to the work that The Seed Company is doing there.

Mid-Atlantic Regional Director
Campus Crusade for Christ
PO Box 117

Exton, PA 19341
Email: eric.fleshood@uscm.org, colleen.fleshood@uscm.org
For most students, their four years in college is when they decide what they will live for -- and for whom they will live. But the anti-God influence prevalent on today’s college campuses reinforces student's skepticism and weakens the faith of Christians. Who will speak for Christ at these institutions? The Fleshood's are motivated to give our lives to help reach the 60 million college students around the world.
